President's Message
Welcome to the Calgary West EDA web site. The Conservative Party of Canada is very strong in Calgary West as we have a large membership base of active conservatives and a very strong Board of Directors comprised of 30 hardworking and motivated members.
The past three years have seen much transition and activity for our party: the party merger, a leadership campaign, a local nomination campaign and a couple of national elections. At times all this activity has been exhausting, however, watching the party grow in strength and in seats; and eventually forming government has kept our batteries charged. We are optimistic that majority status is just one more election away.
This year our primary focus is on party building and providing good government. This will include growing the membership of the party in Calgary West and fundraising to provide the means for this activity; as well as to fund our next campaign. There are lots of ways that you can join our winning team as volunteers are always needed. Just click on the "Become a volunteer" icon at left or call and we will find a way for you to help. The momentum is with the Conservative Party and we need your help to keep the energy growing.
